West Cobb Prep

Infants and Toddlers

A strong foundation is key to a happy and successful life. Through ample research, it has been proven essential for all human beings to receive love and affection from parents and caregivers from birth. In turn, the child is enabled to grow with the ability to form positive relationships throughout their lifetime. Here at West Cobb Prep we hold this notion dear to our hearts and take the extra step to partner with our parents and guardians in ensuring that their children are always in a secure, loving, and nurturing environment

West Cobb's infant program has separate rooms for both mobile and non-mobile children, giving each child the opportunity to move at their own pace while minimizing the risk of child interferences. In addition, separate areas for sleep and play have been provided in order for each child to function on their own accord. With this effective system, our caregivers are able to maintain your child's individual schedule for naps, feedings and other personal needs.  However, if your child is not currently on a regular schedule, each parent is encouraged to communicate with the teacher to create a schedule that works for both you and your child.

We want nothing more for your baby to feel safe and at home. Hope to see you and your bouncing baby of joy very soon.

As the mind develops and your little one continues to grow, it is important for a child's environment to parallel the needs of acceleration. West Cobb Prep Academy's toddler program encompasses a well-rounded curriculum that provides a stimulating and educational environment for young inquisitive minds. Here, children are encouraged to interact, explore and investigate through a variety of activities. It is through these activities the children are exposed to key learning experiences, which include but are not limited to:

Language and Literacy Skills

Problem Solving and Reasoning Skills

Social and Emotional Development

Physical Growth- both large and small motor skills

Creativity

Because we recognize and understand that at this young age not all children fully grasp the concept of 'sharing', we make it our duty to purchase all resources and learning equipment in multiples. This ensures that each child has a fair and equal opportunity to learn appropriately.

Our lesson plans and daily schedules also allow for children to explore music, movement, art, gross and fine motor skills, literacy, sign language, dramatic play, and the outdoors. We strongly believe that all areas of learning and development are equally important and are interconnected. We welcome your toddler to our world of advancement!
